The fall is one of my favorite seasons for photography , it is just so beautiful with all of the pretty colored leaves trees and everything is so pretty and green. Also everyone wants the perfect pictures of their family for their holiday cards. Now that the season is winding down I took my family out to the beautiful Boswell’s Tree Farm to do some holiday pictures of our own. The Family:

It is not often that I blog about my own family but I was so involve with how these family photos turned out that I just had to share them. As a photographer you spend you time giving families a gift, a gift of memories and I love the smile on mom and dad’s face when they see the photos. But taking pictures of your own family isn’t as easy as doing it for other families actually I dread family photo day for my family but love showing up to take other family photo’s it is much easier. But when I took these I Knew I had would love them and my girls really enjoyed this shoot, it was such a good day. Here is one of my favorite family pictures from the day!

The Location:

Boswell’s Tree Farm has quickly become one of my favorite locations to take fall photo’s at. There are rows and rows of beautiful christmas trees to use as your backdrop. It is a small family run business and the owners are standing there to greet each and ever customer that pulls up. I also think what a great idea it is to have some nice family posed photo’s first and then document your family picking out your favorite tree down and then cut down your own tree. If you do not celebrate christmas it is still a great location to have your family photos down the trees are so beautiful and make an amazing backdrop. Here are a few of my favorite photo’s from the session.

Lastly at the end of the session as the sun was setting I snapped these two pictures I think that they are absolutely beautiful!
